Die Ausstellung - Premiere at Bühne Eyber Straße, Ansbach

The piece asks the audience to imagine having the choice of steering a play in a particular direction, where every decision has consequences. In the first part, the audience meets a young painter who gets the chance of her life: she may present her pictures to a wider audience in an exhibition for the very first time. She is supported by the owner of the premises, and an amorous relationship develops.

The story is told from different perspectives, in different rooms and by different people, and the audience follows it from close up. In the second part, the audience decides how the story should end, whether there will be a "Happy End" or whether another path might be the better one. The production draws the spectators into a world shaped by the continuing unequal treatment of man and woman and the abuse of positions of power.

The audience follows the young artist's story from different perspectives and finally has the choice of helping determine the outcome of her story. Book, idea and direction are by Bartholomäus Pakulski. The performers are Beatrice Boca, Matias Lavall and Leontine Dick.

Stage and costume are by Astrid Natho. The fixed-seat hall plan is not accessible. Help with booking is available by calling the ticket hotline on 069 427262 680.
