4, 78073 Bad Dürrheim, Deutschland. The workshop combines warmth, cold and ritual. Participants are introduced to the world of the Pirts ceremony and combine the traditional sweating ceremony with the experience of ice bathing.

The change between warmth and cold is intended as a moment of mindfulness and of consciously perceiving body and mind. The workshop runs in four parts. First comes the Pirts ceremony, an authentic ceremony with soft bundles of twigs made from natural materials such as birch, oak, linden or maple, accompanied by meditative music, soothing scents and conscious breathing.

Second is an introduction to ice bathing, covering basics, breathing techniques, mental focus and the effects on the immune system and resilience. Third is the ice bath itself, where conscious breathing and mental focus are used to use the cold as a source of energy.

The workshop ends with a soup and tea, with room to ask questions and reflect. Participants meet at the Solemar main entrance at Huberstraße 8, 78073 Bad Dürrheim.
