Theater Pralka zeigt "Othello. Therapie" in Bad Dürrheim

Theater Pralka performs "Othello. Therapie", a piece by author John von Düffel, on Monday 16 November 2026 at 20:00 in the Luisensaal im Kurhaus, Luisenstraße 15, 78073 Bad Dürrheim. Tickets start at 15,00 €, and a reduction is available.

The organiser is the Kur- und Bäder GmbH Bad Dürrheim, Luisenstr. 4, 78073 Bad Dürrheim, Deutschland. In the piece, Desdemona, Emilia and Bianca — Othello's strangled wife, Jago's stabbed wife and Cassio's ex — meet a few hundred years later at a bowling alley.

They had sworn to avoid the subject of men, but they talk about their past relationships and the possibility of new love. Old wounds reopen, there are spitefulness and jealousy, especially when Lodovico, the rich and much sought-after pretty boy, appears. The three briefly face competition, then close ranks again, each devising her own personal Othello therapy.

Performing are Christine Haus (Desdemona), Martina Speier (Emilia), Silke Seehaus (Bianca), Christelle Kinzelbach (Bärbel), Stefan Lick (Rodrigo) and Andrea Manke (Taschentuch). The souffleuse is Heik Mägle-Barth; technique is by Mani Mayer and Martin Langer.
