In 2027 Harry Allen tours Europe in a quartet with the German jazz pianist Martin Sasse, and the programme centres on the current CD "Live at Bird’s Eye". Harry Allen was born in Washington, D.C. in 1966, grew up in Los Angeles and studied at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

He lives in New York today. He has released more than 70 recordings under his own name, and three of his albums received the Gold Disc Award from the Japanese "Swing Journal".

The Holzhausenschlösschen in the Frankfurt district of Nordend was built between 1727 and 1729 for the Frankfurt patrician dynasty von Holzhausen. The Frankfurter Bürgerstiftung, founded in 1989, has its seat there and organises the event.
