Field Commander C. at the Kulturkirche, Neuruppin, 24 January 2027

Field Commander C. - The Songs of Leonard Cohen - Early works - the roots of Hallelujah is a concert at the Kulturkirche in Neuruppin on Sunday, 24 January 2027, at 18:00. The show is a tribute to the Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen. Rolf Ableiter's Field Commander C. performs the new programme in a smaller line-up, apart from the larger formation that devotes itself to the 1979 tour.

The programme looks at Cohen's early work, which the concert presents as the roots of the song "Hallelujah". Songs such as "Suzanne", "Bird on the Wire", "So Long Marianne" and "Famous Blue Raincoat" all date from the period of his first four albums. The songs are performed with guitar, violin, cello, organ and accordion, along with stories about the early work.

Tickets start at EUR 39.50. The Kulturkirche is at Schinkelplatz 1, 16816 Neuruppin.
