KIEBICH UND DUTZ | Musiktheater für Kinder ab 8 Jahren in Berlin

KIEBICH UND DUTZ | Musiktheater für Kinder ab 8 Jahren is a music theatre piece for children aged 8 and over, staged at the Schlossplatztheater in Berlin on Wednesday, 9 December 2026, at 10:00. Attendance for the 10:00 performance requires a reservation by email at [email protected]. The piece is based on a text by F. K. Waechter, with live music by Jonathan Boudevin.

It tells of Kiebich, who lives in a box with cushions, porridge and a comic that explains the world to him. When the box falls quiet, he dreams up a friend, Dutz, who is cautious, soft and full of doubt. The two practise courage by flying, fighting, losing each other and finding each other again.

When things get serious, Dutz stays behind, and Kiebich goes out into the world alone. The play deals with friendship, courage and the first step out into the world. Direction is by Birgit Grimm, and Thorbjörn Björnsson and Jörg Vogel perform.

Tickets start at EUR 12. The standard price is 12.00 euros, and the reduced price is 8.70 euros for Ticket-S holders, pupils and children.

With a discount voucher from the JugendKulturService, children and pupils pay 5.00 euros. The Schlossplatztheater is at Alt-Köpenick 31, 12555 Berlin, next to the Rathaus Köpenick.
