KIEBICH UND DUTZ | Musiktheater für Kinder ab 8 Jahren, Berlin

KIEBICH UND DUTZ | Musiktheater für Kinder ab 8 Jahren is a music theatre piece for children aged 8 and over, staged at the Schlossplatztheater in Berlin on 10 December 2026, 10:00. The 10:00 performance can only be attended with a reservation by email to [email protected]. The piece is based on a text by F. K. Waechter and features live music by Jonathan Boudevin.

It is about friendship, courage and taking the first step out into the world. Kiebich lives in a box with cushions, porridge and a comic that explains the world to him. When the box falls quiet, he dreams up a friend, Dutz, who is cautious, soft and full of doubt.

The two practise courage together, but when things get serious Dutz stays behind, and Kiebich goes out into the world alone. The cast is Thorbjörn Björnsson and Jörg Vogel, directed by Birgit Grimm.

Normal tickets cost 12.00 euros. The reduced price is 8.70 euros for children and pupils, and 5.00 euros with a discount voucher from the JugendKulturService.
