Komponist*in zum Frühstück in Dresden

Komponist*in zum Frühstück takes place on Sunday 15 November 2026 at 11:00 at the Festspielhaus Hellerau, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 56, 01109 Dresden. The event is held in the Dalcroze-Saal and is a concert, talk and breakfast.

Sara Glojnarić is the guest in the latest edition of the ensemble courage series. The composer was born in 1991 in Zagreb, Croatia, and her music moves between the boundaries of art music and popular forms of expression, using that friction as a creative motor. Feminist and queer perspectives, as well as socio-political conditions of music, shape her work, alongside the examination of collective memory and intercultural ruptures.

The breakfast includes coffee, a glass of orange juice, scrambled eggs with or without ham or a boiled egg, jam, various vegan and vegetarian spreads such as hummus, cheese, sausage and various rolls (also gluten-free), muesli and fruit. The event lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes and is in German. Advance sales start on 05.10.26 at 10:00.
