The concert is titled "TALKING HOT – SRS JAZZMEN". The SRS Jazzmen were founded in 1972 in a garden hut in the Erlanger Schwabachgrund. The seven musicians play New Orleans classics and hits from the Roaring Twenties of the German-speaking region.

The Jazz Studio Nürnberg was founded in 1954, when 13 jazz enthusiasts fulfilled their dream of a location devoted entirely to this genre. The venue is a cellar vault, and Count Basie, Albert Mangelsdorff and Chico Freeman have been drawn to Nuremberg to it. Regional jazz greats and local favourites appear on its stage.

The genre is shown in all its facets, from classical through modern jazz to swing, soul and funk. The non-profit association also runs series such as "The Art of Jazz" and brings jazz into your home every Thursday from 22:00 to 23:00 during "JazzTime im Radio Nürnberg".
