TRIO KUSCHE - Electric Blues aus Nürnberg at Jazz Studio Nürnberg

The programme spans covers from Chicago, Eastcoast and Texas blues as well as their own material. In 2016 father and son Kusche appeared together at the Chicago Bluesfestival with the band Tears And Drops. The Jazz Studio Nürnberg was founded in 1954 by 13 jazz enthusiasts, and the venue is a cellar vault.

Count Basie, Albert Mangelsdorff and Chico Freeman have performed there. The club shows regional jazz figures and local favourites, covering classical, modern jazz, swing, soul and funk. The non-profit association also runs series such as "The Art of Jazz" and broadcasts "JazzTime im Radio Nürnberg" every Thursday from 22:00 to 23:00.
