L'Hymne à Edith at Théâtre du Nord-Ouest, Paris

L'Hymne à Edith is presented by La Compagnie de L'Elan. The show runs 1h10. Véronique Daniel directs and performs it.

The piece is a narrative interwoven with songs sung on stage as a tribute to Edith Piaf. It was created recalling that Edith Piaf often sang at the cabaret le Club des Cinq, which became a cinema in 1954 and then the Théâtre du Nord-Ouest in 1997.

The show includes the words "Quand je donne quelque chose, je le donne entièrement" attributed to Edith Piaf. Its themes are work, love, friendship and the wounds of childhood.
