L'Ile des Esclaves at Théâtre du Nord Ouest, Paris

L'Ile des Esclaves is a play presented by La Companie de l'Elan at Théâtre du Nord Ouest in Paris, running from 17 October 2026 to 17 January 2027. Tickets start at EUR 25.30. The story takes place on an island where the social order is reversed: masters become slaves and slaves become masters.

Greek characters, a shipwreck and the character of Euphrosine lean towards tragedy, but the piece is a comedy, with confused feelings, shifts of power between masters and valets and the comic character of Arlequin. Bernard Lefebvre and Hélène Robin direct.

The cast is Yassine Amani, Alexandre Durand, Marc Grèzes-Rueff, Phillippe Hazza, Adrien Lecoin, Bernard Lefebvre, Jean Marzouk, Marion Rif, Hélène Robin, Marwann Selmi and Clémence Thoison. Frédéric Morel designed the costumes.
