Les Mots se Défendent at Laurette Théâtre, Paris

Les Mots se Défendent is presented by Laurette théâtre (L-1-931838). The show is a trial of spelling: words come to defend their spelling before an audience that acts as the jury and votes at the end. Some words must defend their spelling before the public acting as jury, including posthume justifying its H, abscons its S, enivrer the solitude of its N, oignon its I, and gentiment the absence of its two Ls.

They must face the attacks of an implacable prosecutor and hope for the clemency of the jury, the audience. The performers are Nadia Mouron and Bernard Fripiat, and the staging is by Nicky Ward.
