The Stylistics at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, 27 November 2026

The Stylistics play Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool on 27 November 2026 at 19:30. The group are an American Philadelphia soul act that achieved their greatest chart success in the 1970s. They formed in 1968.

Their U.S. hits were ballads marked by the falsetto of Russell Thompkins Jr. and the production of Thom Bell. In the early 1970s the group had twelve consecutive R&B top ten hits, among them "Stop, Look, Listen", "You Are Everything" and "You Make Me Feel Brand New".

As their U.S. success waned, their popularity in Europe, and especially the United Kingdom, increased.

"Can't Give You Anything (But My Love)" reached number 1 in the U.K. in 1975.
