Hilma af Klint: Artist and Visionary, Dublin

Hilma af Klint: Artist and Visionary is an exhibition at the National Gallery of Ireland in Dublin on 7 February 2027. It looks at the period and setting in which the artist developed her distinctive vision. Spirituality shaped her work, including her study of Rosicrucianism, Theosophy and Anthroposophy.

Few people outside her close circle saw her spiritual paintings during her life, and they stayed in storage until the 1980s, with little recognition beyond Sweden. The exhibition is put together with The Hilma af Klint Foundation. Key Capital at 25 presents it, and it receives funding through the Culture Programme for Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026.
