About Novara

Novara is Piedmont's second city after Turin, a compact former Roman town whose skyline is fixed by the Basilica of San Gaudenzio's 121-metre dome, an Alessandro Antonelli landmark. It sits amid rice paddies between Milan and Turin, known regionally more for gorgonzola and food than as a major tourist stop.
