Life is the Game at MAAT in Lisbon

Life is the Game is an XR experience, using a mixed reality headset, at MAAT - Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia in Lisbon from 28 October 2026 to 15 February 2027. It follows the passage between death and rebirth. The work explores consciousness, identity, memory and transcendence, and invites interaction with soundscapes and spaces that challenge the perception of the self in relation to collective life.

Paulo Furtado, known as The Legendary Tigerman, directs the project and composes its sound. Yolanda Correia, a software engineer, handles the technological development.

Eduardo Brito, a director, screenwriter and photographer, wrote the screenplay and created the concept. The museum is open Wednesday to Monday, from 10:00 to 19:00.
