OICHE SHAMHNA @ The Millbank

OICHE SHAMHNA @ The Millbank is an evening of storytelling and music at Millbank Theatre in Dublin on 19 October 2026. It is part of Fingal's Home of Halloween events. Eddie Lenihan, an Irish author, storyteller, lecturer and broadcaster, is one of the few practising seanchaí remaining in Ireland. The seanchaí are traditional Irish lore-keepers and tale-spinners. Alannah Thornburgh also stars. She is a multi-instrumentalist and composer who focuses on traditional Irish harp, and her music explores her family's musical heritage by reimagining ancient airs and tunes from the Irish harping and American folk and jazz traditions. The students of The Junior Academy at Millbank Theatre tell Stories from the Archives. The evening is pitched at everyone in the family.
