The Stylistics at New Theatre Cardiff, 31 October 2026

The Stylistics play New Theatre Cardiff in Cardiff on 31 October 2026 at 19:00. The group is an American Philadelphia soul act that formed in 1968 and had its greatest chart success in the 1970s. Their U.S.

hits were all ballads built around the falsetto of Russell Thompkins Jr. and the production of Thom Bell. In the early 1970s they had twelve consecutive R&B top ten hits, among them "Stop, Look, Listen", "You Are Everything" and "You Make Me Feel Brand New". As their U.S.

success waned, their popularity in Europe, and especially the United Kingdom, grew, and "Can't Give You Anything (But My Love)" reached number 1 in the U.K. in 1975.
