Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival

Antalya’s Golden Orange Film Festival is one of Turkey’s longest-running and most significant film events. Each autumn it brings national and international cinema to the Mediterranean coastal city, with a competition programme spanning feature films, documentaries and short subjects. The festival’s Golden Orange statuette is the centrepiece of its awards, given in three film categories.

The festival opens with a parade through the city and moves to an opening ceremony at the Konyaaltı Amphitheatre or the Antalya Cultural Center, where honorary awards recognise figures from Turkish cinema. Screenings and related events are based at the Antalya Cultural Center, and visitors can plan their days using the official catalogue and screening schedule. The Film Forum, a separate platform within the festival, gives projects and filmmakers a stage alongside the main competition.
