Prague Old Town Square Christmas Market 2026

The Prague Old Town Square Christmas Market 2026 is an open-air Christmas market at Staroměstské náměstí in Prague, running from 28 November 2026 to 6 January 2027. The market is run by the company Taiko. Stalls offer traditional Czech products, a range of gastronomic specialities and a daily cultural programme of music and folklore.

A festively lit Christmas tree stands on the square. The market traditionally supports Czech producers and craftspeople.

Stalls mainly sell Christmas goods and handmade items such as glass and straw ornaments, decorations made of ceramics, wood, corn husks, beads or dried fruits and spices. Ceramic and wooden nativity scenes, bobbin-lace doilies, crocheted toys, bells large and small, cookie cutters and wooden rolling pins are also on sale.
