daniel’s destruction is a performance at Sophiensæle (Kantine), Sophienstraße 18, 10178 Berlin, on Thursday 19 November 2026 at 19:00. Tickets start at 25,00 €, with a reduction available. The performance runs approximately 1 h 10 Min.

It is in German with English surtitles. It is not suitable for minors. The work deals with the actual death of a young man forced into sex work, his close social environment and the last weeks before his death from an overdose.

An attitude to life between sex dates, intoxication and drug dealing is illuminated from a vulnerable, self-critical inner perspective. The project is a snapshot of social conditions and gay life experiences in today’s Berlin. Yannik Böhmer is the director.

The text is by Nicolaas van Diepen. Elena Kaufmann is responsible for version and dramaturgy. The performers are Nicolaas van Diepen, Shlomi Moto Wagner and Tim-Fabian Hoffmann.

The music is by Erik Leuthäuser and Shlomi Moto Wagner. It is a production by Unbestimmte Bewegung in co-production with Sophiensæle, funded by the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion, the district of Mitte and the Akademie der Künste.
