Love and Other Promises at Bewleys Cafe Theatre, Dublin

Love and Other Promises, a play by Colette Cullen, runs at Bewleys Cafe Theatre in Dublin from 9 to 28 November 2026. It follows Rachel and Fiona, two women navigating co-parenting after an acrimonious breakup. When they spend time together again, old feelings and unresolved wounds begin to surface, and they have to face betrayal, love, grief and the possibility of reconciliation, and ask whether some relationships can be repaired or whether letting go is the way forward.

Colette Cullen also wrote When Rachel Met Fiona. Home You Go Productions presents the play with Bewley's Café Theatre. It is directed by Iseult Golden and performed by Emma Dargan-Reid and Kathy McGarry.

The running time is 60 minutes. Age guidance is 14+, and the content covers LGBTQ relationships, mental health, birth and motherhood. Performances are Monday to Saturday at 13:00.

A soirée performance takes place at 19:00 on Thursday, 12 November 2026. Tickets cost €10 on Monday and Tuesday, €12 on Wednesday and Thursday, and €15 on Friday and Saturday.

Soirée tickets cost €15. The show was first presented in The New Theatre in 2025.
